CT ELECTROLYSIS CENTER

Policies & Procedures

Initial Consultation
A consultation, including an in depth health history, will be discussed. This is a vital part of deciding your individual treatment plan. Discussion will take place concerning electrolysis, types of treatments
available, before and after care, cost, laser etc. All questions and concerns will be addressed. A physical assessment of the affected area to be treated will take place. There will also be a brief demonstration allowing you to experience the sensation felt and see the reaction of your skin. After having full knowledge of what is involved you can then make an informed decision as to whether electrolysis is right for you.

Infection Control
As a strict follower of the American Electrolysis Association standards and practices set by the Center for Disease Control, forceps are sterilized according to a defined protocol and the probes used are single use, pre-sterilized and disposable. You can be assured that all sterilization is monitored both chemically and by an outside biological monitoring service.

Payment Policy
Payment is due at time of service. Only cash and checks are accepted. Credit and debit cards are not accepted. A fee of $25 is charged for all returned checks.

Cancellation Policy
A 24 hour notice is required for all cancellations to avoid charge for your scheduled appointment.
